Open Picture Prompt Post

An Open RP Post, with a ~twist~. Basically, I love picture prompts more than life itself, so this is what you do.

1. You choose one of your characters.
2. You leave me a picture prompt and/or what character of mine you're requesting (if you don't request a specific one, I turn the wheel of RP fortune or something like that).
3. I comment setting up a scenario inspired/based on the prompt

Which must be nice, still having that connection.

[It's not like Tyler had an abundance of friends he left at home or anything he had had Caroline, and that was about it. And Matt. So being alone -- okay it kind of sucks but he's also used to it. Besides, Scott reminds him a little of Matt in that earnestly good guy sort of way which both helps and hurts, sometimes.

And yeah, so sometimes Derek creeps on him and tries to demand answers on what he is. That happens. And the wolves are different here -- but over all Beacon Hills is someplace Tyler manages to just...blend into.

His eyes flutter a little when he feels the movement. Oh. Definitely not Caroline but it's still...pretty nice and honestly he's kind of okay with not letting go of Lydia just yet -- esepcially when she begins to snuggle in closer to him like she's doing right now.]

So? Let them talk.

[Is he supposed to care what other people think? Whoops. Not so much.]

That's not a problem, is it?

Nope. When that happens, we deserve what we get.

It's the only one I've really had. It helps keep me sane, to be honest.

[ she steps back and he has to let her go. he has to and he knows it but it's not easy. that will never be easy. maybe it should be, because that's what's supposed to happen after breakups, but scott can't even pretend that it is. he shuffles a little awkwardly, regrouping, like he isn't totally sure what to do with himself. ]

Denmark?

[ the fuck? ]

Why are we in Denmark?

[ there's a pause, and then. ]

And why do I have a butterknife?

I'm a little jealous, honestly.

Yeah, I suppose we do.

[transferee]

[It's not easy for her either -- and she's not sure it every will be but it's probably something they both need to get used to.

At least they have fun topics like the zombie apocalypse to distract them!]

I'm not really sure why Denmark, honestly.

But the butterknife is for the zombies. Everyone was given a weapon.

[She holds up her gauntlet covered hand.]

Some are more useful than others.

I know this is hard. If it makes you feel better, I think your dad hoped you would never have to deal with it.

Well, now you have me.

[and if she can try and keep him grounded, she's certainly willing to.]

I don't know. Everything comes back to our parents in one way or another.

Well yes, our parents making us into monsters certainly did not help.

[He smiles a little at that.]

Yeah. I guess I do.

I think so too. He wasn't happy when Kate exposed me to everything.

He probably wanted you to make the decision for yourself.

[braveandstupid]

[She gives his hand a squeeze, before nodding to the door.]

I'll get the booze. We can drink it somewhere else until someone gets over here.

Sounds good to me

[and with that she gets up and heads back into the house to grab a bottle. A few minutes later she's back with the scotch and two glasses.]

Where should we go?

No, I guess not.

[she sighs]

Parents suck.

Yeah, they really do.

To make a decision I have to know what's really going on.

[lockwood]

I don't know. [Not back to his former home turned museum -- he's not sure he's ready to be there yet.]

Look, the way your family runs things, that would have been a lot of responsibility coming to you fast. He wanted to let you be a kid for as long as he could. I can't really say there's anything wrong with that.
