[The Argents have just recently moved to Dillon...or what's left of them anyways. So just her and her dad. She misses her friends, but getting a new start after Beacon Hills, there's something nice about that idea.

Being at a game makes her think of Scott in a way that pangs, even if it's Football instead of Lacrosse. Still, it's hard not to be moved when she sees a young man wheel out his best friend, one who apparently got paralyzed a few months ago.

So she cheers for the Panthers, screaming as loud as she can, smiling for the first time in a long time when she sees him win.

It's not until after the game, when she's making her way down from the bleachers that she notices one of the players, the one who had been there with his friend. She jogs over to him.]

You were really great out there.

[Tim knows of Allison only because she's the new girl. He hasn't paid much attention to anything lately. It's a bad time for Tim and he'd like to say it's getting better, but Jason is still screwed up and it's looking like he's never going to walk again. Tonight though, tonight is a good night. Jason is in a decent mood. The Panthers won. Everyone isn Dillon is happy, including Tim Riggins so when a pretty girl comes over to compliment him, he grins at her, all flirting and cockiness because she's right. He was great out there.]

Thanks. It was a whole team effort. [And he's sincere about that. Tim knows he's a rockstar, but he's a rockstar with a lot of help.]

Takes a big man to admit that. [She's known jocks before. Jackson went crazy obsessed when he was no longer the star -- and even Scott enjoyed it some. It takes a lot for one to admit that isn't just them out there.]

[Tim will have a bit of a time adjusting, but despite appearances, he doesn't really have the ego for going crazy over not being a rockstar anymore. ]

[After he graduates, Tyler leaves Mystic Falls. He hires people to keep up the Lockwood property, turns it into a town museum but he doesn't return. There's nothing for him there. He and Caroline broke up shortly after his mother's death and more than anything he just wants out. Away from Klaus, from everything.

It's about a hundred years before he comes back, and he doesn't expect to see any familiar faces anymore. He doesn't expect anything at all as he wanders around the familiar woods of the Lockwood property. Land he knows well. Where everything started.

He doesn't know how long he's wandering until he picks up a scent he recognizes. One he hasn't smelled in a long time, but he recognizes it nonetheless.

He zooms to follow it until he stops in front of Elena as well.]

Hey.

[What else do you say when you first see someone after a hundred years?]

[Rebekah wanders the street of the city, looking around for the woman who Kol had brought home. She remembered getting her card after they got lost in the maze, and after the recent betrayals of Stefan and her brother, she can use more allies of her own. People to call on.

And getting out of Mystic Falls for a bit helps.]

[John Casey isn't a fan of working with the cops, but as far as that goes....Beckett isn't awful to work with. He picks up the pocket watch, scoffing.]

This is all the suspect left behind?

i know nothing of covert affairs but she's in the cia right???

[Elle's on a job from the Company to check out the special who was causing earthquakes out in the country.

Of course, go figure, the CIA is here checking out the phenomenon too. Great. Just what she needs. ]

/throws her at all the winchesters

[It's the full moon, and they're out trying to hunt down a particularly nasty wolf. Her father figures if she hunts, she needs to learn from people with more experience. And not just him. Which is why she's out with Dean tonight, her crossbow clutched in her hands.]

So what direction are we heading in?

[The thing is the old life is hard to resist, so when she hears Neal Caffery is back in the business, she's eager to get his help. She has a big job, one she can't do alone, and he's almost as good of a thief as she is. Almost.

She slides the folder to him across the table of the small diner they're eating in. Someplace inconspicuous, where they can't draw attention to themselves.]

So?

[Dean's not convinced it's a wolf. The kills aren't right, but everything else checks, so he's operating on that assumption for now. He stops in the woods, glancing up at the trees for a moment, before gesturing west.]

We go where the tracks go.

[There's no cure for being a vampire. There's always going to be the craving for blood. Elena feels it every day and every time she indulges she a little bit of herself melt away. Over and over again for over a hundred years.

But when she stands in these woods, she's home. She's safe and warm and if she closes her eyes she can almost pretend to be the girl who used to run through the trees hiding from the Fell ghost. The little rabbit girl who just wanted to be free and to be loved.

In the end she was given claws and wings and they tried to make her fly. She loses herself to madness in cycles, the kind that comes and goes and last a little longer each time. Stefan is gone. She feels the ache of Damon's absence every day and she wonders if him invoking the sire bond took a little piece of her with him.

Still, he isn't there. He let her go. Matt and Bonnie, dead, Caroline, gone.

Jeremy, dead.

There's no one left in Mystic Falls. No one left who knows her real name or who she used to be before they replaced her hands with claws and her teeth with fangs.

She should remember that wolves always come home. They always remember their pack.

She closes her eyes when she hears the patter of feet, waiting to see what happens when it stops. She protects the town from stray vampires, doing what the council can't, but sometimes the one that comes back is friendly. She waits until she hears his voice, and she smiles.]

Tyler.

[She doesn't know if he's heard anything about what she's become, but she's happy to see him nonetheless. Her eyes open and she lunges forward, wrapping her arms around his neck.]

[Bo is currently in the middle of said alley, beating up on a member of the Dark. She needs information, he has it, and he needed to be persuaded.

Eventually he caves and tells her what she needs to know, and she lets him go, feeling rather pleased with herself. She's dusting off her hands as she turns around and spots a familiar blond. Her smile turns a little softer as she takes a step closer.]
