Rebekah's always wanted to get married, it was something she thought she'd never get the chance to do once she was a vampire. Just another item in the list of experiences she would never have in her life. But then she meets Aiden, and they fall in love and he proposes to her -- she says yes, of course. Eternity with somebody she loves? What could be better?

But the problem is she's already promised herself to her family, Always and Forever. Niklaus doesn't like the news of the engagement, comes over during one of their dinners to fight with her, screaming at how she's being selfish. Things escalate when she brings up about he doesn't get a say anymore, not after disowning her. Eventually, things escalate and she's started throwing things at her dear old brother.

That's about when Aiden intervened. And now Klaus is gone (but not forgotten) and Rebekah is trying to clean up the mess in the dining room. So much for a nice dinner at home.

She glances over at him. "Are you going to help me?" Not that he really was part of making the mess, but still. This is the family you have willingly gotten yourself involved with Aiden.
