Open Post the Sequel
how to play.
1. Drop a comment with one or more of your muses. It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me. If you want to just give me a prompt (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, anything), I can riff off that too.
2. In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with, or you can ask me to pick someone.
3. just rp with me. if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse. if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Sometimes he forgets his own strength. It isn't something he's used to, like his brothers are. You'd think his reflexes would've kicked in there, but his own mind was elsewhere. He offers her his hand, but she picks herself up (Allison Argent will always pick herself up off the ground, okay) and he gives a small, apologetically lopsided smile.
"I'm the one that's sorry. Should've been paying attention, too. You okay?"
The narration promises that there is no affiliation with Derek, Peter, or their manpain.

Even if she wasn't, she'd say she was anyways. Allison's not so good at admitting she's hurt -- especially to strangers. But all things considered it was a pretty minor stumble and other than a few scratches and bruises she'll heal alright. She may be only human but she's tough. She's built herself out of arrows and steel.
Good. No one wants that manpain tbh.

Alek shifts uncomfortably at the declaration she is fine. It isn't that he is doubting it, but he sees the scratches and bruises. Never mind he's got some of his own. "You should still ... take care of that," he says, frowning at the sight.
"I've got a first aid kit in my car." Pause. "You don't have to follow me to the car. I can bring the kit to you."
Because that offer sounds creepy whether you're a good person or you're not.

Allison's instinct to insist she doesn't need help. Especially from a stranger. But he seems nice and it's always possible he won't say no for an answer. She nods finally, conceding.
"I'll wait here then."
Because yeah, not following you back to your car stranger, that's how girls get killed.

Anyone that would go with him would be a little too trusting, in his mind. He gets why she's cautious, and doesn't fault her for it. Still, true to his word, Alek returns several minutes later with a first aid kit in hand.
"It's nothing fancy," he says with a sheepish, somewhat apologetic look. It's a tin box in which he's gathered things that he's needed when he gets into fights, to patch himself up before he gets home so his brothers don't ask too many questions.
"But I think it'll do the trick."
no subject
And eventually he does come back. She smiles a little when he explains the kit he has.
"I'm sure it'll be more than fine."
no subject
That's one of his greatest fears, even if he logically knows she's fine, and it wasn't severe.
"I'm Alek. By the way." Smooth, Alek. Smooth.
no subject
She certainly doesn't hold it against him.
Which is why she flashes him a smile.
"I'm Allison."
no subject
"Hey, Allison," he says easily, smile widening a fraction.
It's Alek's version of nice to meet you.
"You're not from Chicago, are you?"
no subject
She laughs a little at that.
"Is it that obvious?"
no subject
The fact he's got very sharp hearing doesn't hurt.
no subject
Maybe that was for the best though. She misses her family, misses her father, enough as it is.

Alek leans back on the bench, tilting his head to look at her. "So you moved around a lot?"
no subject
She nods a little. "Yeah. My family never stayed in one place long really."
