Rebekah is free to go anywhere she wants, do whatever she wants, for the first time in her life and it's almost overwhelming. She's not sure where to start -- but she had enjoyed New York when she was briefly there with Damon and Elena before so she decides to start there.

It's crowded, an easy city to get lost in and she's still trying to adjust to things like the subway -- modern conveniences she never got to grow accustom to because of how much time she missed.

As she gets up onto the street she's looking at directions on her phone and not paying attention as she walks into someone.
