After coming back from the dead Davina doesn't know who to trust. The witches all hate her -- Marcel used her. Klaus wanted to. Other than Josh and maybe Cami Davina feels like there are few people she can honestly trust in New Orleans. Everyone has their own agenda -- everyone.

Which is why when she hears from Elijah a few days after learning to tap into her magic again she's skeptical -- she almost refuses to see him at all. But he promises her more pages from his mother's grimoire -- while it's probably just another attempt to get her to do a spell that benefits him it's still too big of a thing to turn down.

Which is why she's waiting outside of the cafe (a neutral meeting place agreed upon by both parties) for the sanest of the Originals.
