If Tyler doesn't want Damon to come to his house, then Matt and Tyler shouldn't be throwing parties. Granted that party was weeks ago and granted, Elena hadn't even attended. Not really. But, he'd been invited by Caroline. Somehow. But, Caroline and Stefan being team Elena and Damon matters not. They're broken up. On some fundamental level, he's okay with it. Mostly because he expects more sex. Maybe expects is a gross way to put it but he does. She can't hide her attraction to him and he can't stop thinking about licking every inch of her body. No matter what, the inevitable conclusion they keep coming to is just that. Not that he should be having these unsavory thoughts on someone else's couch.
As for the scotch, Mayor Lockwood had good taste.
"People should know I don't need a reason." He sets his glass down. "Though, I do have a reason. You may not like it, but Jeremy was my responsibility this summer." And, technically this entire half of the year. Yes, he failed spectacularly at that. But, shrug, really. "And now he's moved in with you and the quarterback who does no wrong." Because, nobody remembers him driving the truck that killed Elena? The memory of some people. "Is he here?"
