To be fair, before Tyler broke the curse he was kind of a dick -- you didn't want to be his friend Isaac. And these days -- well being social isn't exactly his strong suit. He leaves that to Caroline. She's always been better at it than him.
Tyler just goes through the motions. He goes to class, tries to study and do work but he doesn't care. Klaus is still living, getting away with what he's done and he's supposed to talk about some bullshit symbolism in a novel?

He didn't realize anyone saw what he was doing. The lines are angry and jagged but not without talent. Tyler doesn't draw much anymore (sometimes he thinks of those stupid pictures Klaus gave Caroline of her and a horse and kills an artistic urge left in him) but sometimes it still comes out.
