Trust goes both ways and Derek certainly isn't giving it either. They both have their grudges and grievances against both parties, though Derek is biased in thinking that stabbing him and his pack multiple times should weigh more than accidentally biting her mother while trying to save Scott, now isn't the time or place to hash it out. Right now, this is about Stiles, and more than that, the implications for Scott.

He's the alpha of Beacon Hills now. Which means he needs to be a lot more careful and they couldn't let a psychotic fox spirit continue to keep hold of his best friend. It also means that they need to do things a little bit differently.

"Getting the nogitsune out of Stiles isn't going to be easy." He moves to sit across from her, elbows resting easily on his thighs and trying to keep his body language open, receptive if he can manage it. She's not, but he doesn't really blame her for that. Right now, he's the one trying to build the bridge. "I'm not even sure if an exorcism or other 'traditional' means would actually work."
