He could keep an eye on gossip and rumors, and plant the seeds of some of his own if needed to give them a little bit of respite. She also doesn't think Geralt liked the idea of dragging the bard around in the thick of danger like this either. Not when he had so few ways of defending himself relative to the rest of them.
Ciri suspects Yennefer agreed with that, too. Especially since she found herself in agreement.
She doesn't want anyone else dying for her.
