[ooc: Basically, this is free range for people to set up scenes with Tyler. Can be canon, crossover, whatever. There will probably be spoilery things bc I am not dealing well with the events of the last episode, this is the warning for that. Also feel free to comment oocly with an idea, and I can set something up too.]

At this point? I'd be inclined to help you. [Any affection he had for Hayley, after turning in the hybrids to Klaus, it's gone.]

[coy]

[ She kisses his chest gently.] I'm sorry.

[lockwood]

I really thought she wanted to help me help them. [She had helped him, back in the mountains. Or had that been all part of her plan too? Had any of that friendship been real?]

[coy]

She played us all. Maybe she had a reason, maybe she didn't. But you deserve better than that. I'm just... I wish I saw through her. [ And maybe she did, a little. But she thought it was just jealousy]

[lockwood]

She had a reason. She said she made a deal with someone, someone who knew what happened to her real parents. Something about needing the hybrids for a sacrifice.

[coy]

[ Caroline moves to look at him. ] A sacrifice? She sacrificed all those people so she could learn about something she could Google or hire a PI for? She broke my neck and betrayed you all to find out about her parents? [ She sounds very annoyed right now.] I'm so going to kick her ass.

[lockwood]

Yeah. She's adopted, and once she triggered the curse, her adopted parents abandoned her. I guess she's been looking for her birth parents. [But that doesn't make going to these lengths okay.]

I mean if she had just told me that, we have money, I could have hired someone to help look into this. It didn't have to come down to this.

[coy]

No, it didn't. [Caroline grumbles, looking up at him with a bit of a frown.] There's no excuse for it. It was soulless. I'd never do that even to get my dad back.

[lockwood]

Exactly. No matter how important someone is to you, it doesn't make it okay to sacrifice other lives in exchange.

[coy]

[Caroline's gaze drops because she knows that Tyler feels like that's what happened with Chris, and in this twisted game they live in, it's been that way even if she hates it completely.]

[lockwood]

[It is how he feels about Chris. But he's not going to bring up again. Not right now.

Still, he grows quiet as her gaze drops.]

I never said it earlier, but I'm sorry, for locking you up. I know you were just worried about me.

[coy]

Is it bad to say I'm used to it? [ Because she is. And she tries her hardest not to sound bitter because... well, his mom died and now's not the time. She'll get over it and since he's apologizing, she'll make an effort to do so faster.] You didn't want your plan ruined.

[lockwood]

[But it was ruined anyways.] I should have let you in on all of it earlier, we could have figured out some o- [And then he stops. Because even if they had figured out the Rebekah option sooner, it's a moot point.]

Not that it matters now.

[coy]

Long story short, Tyler? I forgive you. [ Because she does. And she's very selfishly glad that Tyler's not buried in cement somewhere. She just wishes the new plan hadn't been ruined.]

It does matter. Maybe we can still try that body thing. Maybe Bonnie will be able to do it sometime.

[lockwood]

She did it once. [When Klaus got put in his body the first time. It can't hurt to ask.

Because they need to find some sort of solution. Leaving Klaus around just leaves everyone they care about vulnerable.]

[coy]

Once she gets her magic mojo back maybe she can again.

[lockwood]

Maybe. We need to figure out something.

He can't just be allowed to keeping doing this.

[coy]

I know, Tyler. [ She murmurs, looking back up at him. ] I know. But I can't push Bonnie into using her powers. Last time that happened it got bad.

[lockwood]

I know. And I don't want that. [He's not asking for that.]

If that's not an option, we'll figure out something else.

[coy]

I promise we will. [ She moves to press a soft kiss to his lips, a promise within that kiss.] He ruined our lives.

[lockwood]

[He kisses her back, returning the promise there.] He did.

[And it's almost funny because Tyler had thought there was no way Klaus could ruin his life more.

But tonight had proven him wrong.]

[coy]

[She shifts, slipping up a little higher so she can kiss him again, better this time because she doesn't want to let it happen anymore, she doesn't want Klaus to ruin Tyler's life or hers or anyone else's anymore.]

[lockwood]

[He kisses her again, pulling her in a little closer now. It feels a little desperate, after everything he's lost today, after everything they've all lost because of Klaus.]

[coy]

[ He pulls her closer and she's happy to let him. And when the kiss turns desperate, she kisses him right back. She doesn't want to lose him, she doesn't want him to lose anyone or anyone else.]

[lockwood]

[He keeps kissing her, trying to just lose himself in the feeling now. He doesn't want to feel the grief in his heart, the anger pumping through his veins, anything but this. Anything else hurts too much right now.]
