Open Picture Prompt Post

An Open RP Post, with a ~twist~. Basically, I love picture prompts more than life itself, so this is what you do.

1. You choose one of your characters.
2. You leave me a picture prompt and/or what character of mine you're requesting (if you don't request a specific one, I turn the wheel of RP fortune or something like that).
3. I comment setting up a scenario inspired/based on the prompt

Like if you think Carrie was an issue...welp...

But for now she'll just take his arm happily, unable to wipe the beaming smile from her lips (she's lived so long but sometimes the smallest things still make her happy -- moments where she feels like a young girl again).]

I think we're both more than capable of having a good evening.

[srsly klaus no one wants you there. you don't even go here.]

Yes. We need to figure that out before anything else.

It's not our capability of having a good evening I would be worried about.

[ it's everything else. everything can go wrong in a dime, but matt's choosing to be optimistic this time around. thus the keywords being would be. they can totally have a blast, okay.

he leads rebekah into the familiar gymnasium, adorned to the brim with colorful frilliness and spotlights. none of the familiar faces have shown up, at least not yet, and strangely enough that's welcomed.

it just feels like him and her, and that's how this works best. somehow. when it's just him and her. ]

I just wish there had been something more to keep us together.

[They were a family, in an odd way. They kept losing people, but they still had each other. She doesn't blame them for wanting to leave, she just isn't sure whether or not she wanted them to take her with them.]

I couldn't stay. Not after everything that happened. [Not after losing his pack, losing his mother. Not after continuously failing to get anything right. Klaus always won, so he just left, metaphorical tale between his legs.]

Well, of course not, but let's try to be positive, shall we?

[Or seriously. Promzilla. That'll be a thing.

But for now her expression stays pleased, almost beaming with joy as she follows him into the gym. Sure, it's such a simple thing to be so happy about but she can't help it.

None of the others are here yet, not the people they really knew anyways, and it suits her just fine. It's best when they're alone.]

[ He grins back.]

Lemme go change. I'll meet you outside the locker rooms.

I know. I don't blame you. I've wanted to just run away from here so many times.

[Over and over again things would just happen, and Elena was so tired of things simply happening. She misses the being able to think that she had some say in the way things would go.]

[Oh, that doesn't sound good at all.]

You definitely need a drink.

[And they pull up to the Dahl.]

So why didn't you leave?

[He's curious, just a little, why she's stayed for so long.]

Werewolves aren't pretty. Hunting them sucks more than a lot of other things out there.

Jeremy. And then Matt. Then after that ... I didn't really have anywhere to go.

I could probably use several, honestly.

[lockwood]

You could go anywhere.

They aren't all bad though. [Like Scott.]

[Once in the locker room, Tim showers, changes into jeans, a panthers football tee shirt and his boots then walks out the front of the locker oom to see if Allison is waiting. When he sees her, he grins.]

My truck is out this way. [He nods toward the parking lot.]

Lead the way. [Her father probably wouldn't be happy about her climbing into the car of a stranger but she's seen a lot worse. She can take care of herself.]

That's part of the reason why. Ninety percent of the time, they're normal people like you and me. It's the other ten percent of the time that they want to do violence.

[braveandstupid]

And I would just be alone.

[which is worse, in a way. Isolation in crowds of people when you've only ever been one place. She had no one to go with.]

It's easier to be alone in a familiar place than alone somewhere completely new. At least here I have the ghosts.

[and sometimes that was more literal than it should be.]

That is the most depressing thing I have heard in a long time.
