Open Picture Prompt Post

An Open RP Post, with a ~twist~. Basically, I love picture prompts more than life itself, so this is what you do.

1. You choose one of your characters.
2. You leave me a picture prompt and/or what character of mine you're requesting (if you don't request a specific one, I turn the wheel of RP fortune or something like that).
3. I comment setting up a scenario inspired/based on the prompt
4. profit????

You could go anywhere.

And I would just be alone.

[which is worse, in a way. Isolation in crowds of people when you've only ever been one place. She had no one to go with.]

It's easier to be alone in a familiar place than alone somewhere completely new. At least here I have the ghosts.

[and sometimes that was more literal than it should be.]

[lockwood]

[Tyler's quiet for a moment, as if unsure of what to say until finally:]

That is the most depressing thing I have heard in a long time.

[Whoops. Tact is not a strong suit of his.]

[She can't help it. She laughs. It's not happy, or amused, but still -- it's laughter. She hasn't done it in any form in a long time.]

I guess some things never change.

[she's still the girl who's much too sad for her own good.]

[lockwood]

I guess not.

[He pauses.]

We should do something fun. Are there still fun things to do here?

[braveandstupid]

I think fun I can manage. I vaguely remember how it works.

[She pauses, before looking around the town for a moment]

The hangouts are pretty much the same. The Grill, the Falls. But we might be able to find something new?

[lockwood]

Something new might be nice.

[braveandstupid]

[she pauses, making a show of thinking for a moment.]

There's one of those virtual reality things outside of town.

[because this is 100 years in the future.]

[lockwood]

That could be fun. It's been a while since I've done one of those.

[braveandstupid]

[She grins.]

I've been a few times. It's definitely something to do.

[lockwood]

When you're going to live as long as we will, it's always good to find some.

[braveandstupid]

Keeping busy keeps you sane. Or at least that's what they tell me.

[lockwood]

Seems to be kind of true.

[braveandstupid]

So what have you been doing? Other than traveling?

[lockwood]

I went to college a couple of times. Even played college football for a while, though I quit before I could gain too much attention.

I've run with a few packs, but mostly I keep to myself.

[braveandstupid]

It sounds like a good life. What did you study in school?

[lockwood]

Art, the first time. That was the only time I actually finished.

[braveandstupid]

Did you get displayed anywhere?

[lockwood]

A few places. I think some might still be in museums.

[braveandstupid]

You'll have to give me the names sometime. I'd love to go see them.

[lockwood]

I could take you, if you want. [she deserves to see the world outside of mystic falls. And it might be nice to have a familiar face around.]

[braveandstupid]

[She turns to look at him, a wide smile crossing her face.]

Really?

[lockwood]

[He smiles a little back.] Really

[braveandstupid]

I'd like that.

[Leaving seems daunting, but leaving with someone ... it made things a little easier. Maybe having someone could keep everything else at bay.]

[lockwood]

When you want to go, tell me. And we will. [He can't imagine staying in Mystic Falls as long as she has. There's so much of the world out there to see.]
