OPEN SHIP WITH ME POST

I'm in a very shippy mood and mostly on top of my tags right now so I thought instead of combing through memes I'd leave this as an open post.
Basically leave me prompts: quotes, pictures, song lyrics, whatever with a muse and what muse of mine you want and we'll see what happens. Alternately, if you don't request a specific muse you can leave it up to me to choose who i throw at them.
I make no apologies for the choices made when that happens.
So please, come and enjoy all the ships with me!!
wow my typos in the tag above. how do you put up with them??
And to think, there was a time when her father thought his knocked up sixteen-year-old was going to amount to nothing. Yet, here she is with her name in the credits.
"Mommy Quinn, who's that lady?" Beth's tugging on her birth mother's hand, now pointing in Rebekah's direction.
Quinn freezes. Rebekah? Of all the people she thought she'd run into, Rebekah wasn't one of them. Quinn knew how well she and her family were at hiding and figured that if Rebekah was determined to disappear, she'd do just that and Quinn would never see her again. Yet here she was, calling her name, standing mere feet away from her.
Beth, sharp as Puck is clever, catches on quickly. Realizing that yes, her mother does know that woman, she changes tactics and waves at Rebekah instead.
tbh i didn't even notice them....
Rebekah's been learning that one the hard way for a thousand years.
When Beth waves at her she returns the gesture -- well she attempts too but during the middle of it Hope tugs on her hair roughly. She carefully wraps her fingers around her niece's, trying to uncurl them.

Quinn blinks out of her reverie and nods, quickly putting on a warm smile for her daughter's sake. She reaches down and ruffles Beth's hair, blonder than she imagined it would be. Both she and Puck have naturally dark hair, but it seems Beth's inherited some recessive genes from the lighter-haired members of their families. The urge to text the girl's father is powerful, Puck having molded himself into one of her closest — and perhaps best friends after their failed attempt at a long-distance relationship, but she fights it off. Beth knew Puck's number by heart and would make a show of demanding to be photographed so the picture could be sent to her father.
Instead she tugs Beth along, deciding to deal with... whatever this was head on. She wasn't the teenager who ran away from her problems anymore.
"Rebekah. I'm surprised to see you here. It's been a long time."

"Which I can explain -- but it's a bit of a long story."
Quinn knows what she and her family really are, after all. And usually babies and vampires don't mix.
But babies and hybrids? That's apparently a whole new ballgame. She always wanted a child of her own though and while she feels sad that Nik and Hayley can't raise their own daughter she'd be lying if she said she wasn't enjoying the chance to do so.
There's very little else that would have gotten her to leave the way she did.

But as far as Quinn knew, Rebekah's siblings were still vampires, and vampires were incapable of breeding. Yet, looking at that little girl in her arms, she could see the resemblance. There was Mikaelson blood in the toddler, all right, shining through those rosy cheeks of hers, plain as day.
"The kind you'd be better off messaging me on Facebook about," Quinn says quickly, wanting Rebekah to understand that whatever tale she had to tell needed to be done without her daughter present.
"When can I get a Facebook?" Beth asks, swinging Quinn's hand back and forth.
Quinn shakes her head. "Not until you're older — and not until Mommy Shelby says it's okay."
Beth seems to pout, yanking her hand out of Quinn's so she can cross her arms over her chest. Her lip juts out, and she peers up at both women with large, too blue eyes.
Oh, yeah. She's definitely her and Puck's daughter. No doubt about it.

"But I'll text it to you later."
Because Quinn deserves an explanation, to say the least, to why her best friend disappeared the way she did. And how a vampire could have a baby. (well, hybrid. still) And why Rebekah was the one taking care of her now.
Rebekah smiles a little at the pouting young girl, waving to her. "You must be Beth."
It's easy enough to put together, after all. She's heard quite a bit about her, though she's never gotten to actually meet her before.
