Open Mistletoe Shenanigans

[desertions]

Suddenly there's mistletoe above you! And someone is stuck under you! And neither one of you can move until you kiss! Shenanigans abound, basically.

I'll be throwing in my muses so feel free to tag them, or leave blank comments with people you want to play and I will give them people! There are no rules here, only fun and silly holiday kissing.

SERIOUSLY?

Her face contorts in anger and annoyance at the accusation.]

Please, like I have nothing better to do with my time than trying to trick you into kissing me.

[saiyan]

[ he huffs, irritated. like bulma, vegeta's a thinker. in spite of what people may say, he fights with his head more often than note. he thinks things through. it's only when there's something emotionally tethered to him does he launch himself into action without thinking, driven by a need to solve whatever problem is offending him in the worst of ways in a way that's almost primal. ]

Perhaps you didn't do it right.

[ not we. you. of course, the fault is hers. but if this plant thrived on whatever kissing did for it, perhaps they didn't go about it the proper way. ]

[capsulecorp]

[If anything, that only pisses her off more somehow. Her own prde can be as bad as his sometimes, not even worse. She refuses to even consider the idea she did something wrong.]

You were the one who kissed me. So if someone did something wrong, it wasn't me.

[But something didn't work right if they still can't move.]

[saiyan]

[ his gaze narrows. ]

If you think you're better at it, why don't you go ahead and show me how it's done?

[ this is as close to flirting with vegeta as you'll ever come, bulma. ]

[capsulecorp]

[lbr fighting is their version of flirting anyway.]

Fine! [She snaps and before she can think better of it she's pressing her lips against his again.]

[saiyan]

[ whatever bulma did this time around does the trick, at least for her. when vegeta's hands land on her hips, he's able to pluck her off her feet without any resistance from the plant's spell, lifting her up to his height. he holds her against him with one arm wrapped almost possessively across the small of her back. ]

[This kiss feels a lot less chaste than the first one -- perhaps that's what broke the curse. As soon as she feels him lift her up she knows she should stop -- clearly they broke whatever spell that they had been under but she simply did not want to. Instead she wrapped her arms around his neck, savoring it for now.]

[saiyan]

[ apparently less chaste was the key to freeing them both, for vegeta's feet are soon leaving the ground, the saiyan not taking any chances with touching the ground anywhere near the damned thing as he lifts up into the air and back away from the hemiparasitic terror.

but that doesn't mean he's stopped kissing her. no, he's still at it, one gloved hand now tangled in the bushy mess of her hair as he kisses her like he has something to prove. as if he stubbornly wants to show her that knows what kissing is, he knows how to do it, and he can do it just as well as any of those pathetic human males that would've supposedly jumped at the chance to kiss her. ]

[She's aware of their feat leaving the ground but it doesn't both her. It's not the first time she's been flown by somebody else, after all. It does mean that she'll keep her arms wrapped around his neck though, just in case.

She also hasn't stopped kissing him anymore than he's stopped kissing her. he made such a fuss about kissing a "lowly" human and maybe she wants to prove to him that it was better than he thought. That was more than he thought of her.]

[saiyan]

[ had she made a fuss about him flying with her, he would've dropped her (not that he would've let her hit the ground, he would've let her fall until the last possible moment, then made a grab to set her gently on her feet in the smugest way possible). but she's not protesting the flight or the kiss, and he's happy content to allow both to continue, only breaking away from her when his lungs demand oxygen. breathing around a kiss wasn't something he had much practice with, not that he'd ever admit it. ]

I won't drop you. Surely you've flown with Kakarot or Yamaha.

[capsulecorp]

[If she made a fuss about it he would probably never let her live it down. besides, she's flown enough in the past that she's beyond getting upset about it. She still prefers flying in one of her capsule ships if she has a choice about it, but still.

Besides she had been thinking more about the kissing part than the flying part -- though eventually they have to pull away a little to catch their breathes.]

It's Yamcha. [Sometimes she thinks he gets his name wrong on purpose.] And of course I have.

[saiyan]

[ he totally does. he doesn't like that the weakingly still pops in from time to time around capsule corp. his relationship with bulma is over. he has no reason to be there on his territory. ]

I'm leaving.

[ but that "i" might as well be a "we," as vegeta takes bulma with him, still holding steadfast to her lithe frame, as he takes off in the opposite direction of the shopping center she'd somehow talked him into going to with her after she insisted that he needed a more human-like wardrobe.

clearly, that was a terrible idea. the humans could deal with his saiyan sense of style and the ridiculous amount of clothing with her company's logo printed on it. ]

[She's known Yamcha since she was a teenager. Even if they aren't dating anymore he's still her friend. ]

You're never going to let me take you shopping again, are you?

[As it's clear they were both leaving now. So much for trying to get him clothes that don't have her company's logo on them. Or you know, aren't his saiyan armor.]

[saiyan]

I was a fool for allowing you to drag me there in the first place.

[ when he finally lands, he does so on the roof of the capsule corp building. only then does he set her back — gently — on her feet. ]

[capsulecorp]

[Really Vegeta? The roof? How is she supposed to get down from here?]

It would of been fine if we hadn't been held hostage by that weird plant

[saiyan]

[ he snorts, keeping a hold of one of her wrists. kakarot would be an annoying handful if he let bulma slip off the roof, and her mother's incessant screeching would only get worse. ]

It takes more than that to hold me.

[capsulecorp]

[Plus who would fix his gravity chamber then? if she was injured her father would probably be busy as well.]

Really? Because you weren't doing any better than I was escaping it.

[saiyan]

I'm still not entirely convinced you didn't set that up yourself.

[ oh yes, vegeta. she wanted to kiss you so badly, she tricked you into going to the mall with her so she could get you under mistletoe. ]

[capsulecorp]

[She snorts a little at that.]

Don't flatter yourself.

[Okay, so kissing him hadn't been bad -- actually it had been kind of really good but she certainly didn't set anything up just for that to happen. Like she doesn't have better things to do with her time.]

[saiyan]

Next time, just ask.

[ vegeta hadn't minded the kissing. it was the lack of mobility and control that had driven him crazy. ]

[capsulecorp]

[that surprises her, somehow.]

I'll keep that in mind. It'll save me the effort of making any more elaborate plans to get you to kiss me

[saiyan]

[ he tugs on her wrist to bring her closer. ]

So you admit it, then? You want me to kiss you.

[capsulecorp]

[She smirks a little as he tugs her in.] Technically, you admitted it first.

[saiyan]

Did I? I hadn't noticed.

[capsulecorp]

You told me next time all I had to do was ask. Which implies you want me to ask.
