Open Mistletoe Shenanigans

Suddenly there's mistletoe above you! And someone is stuck under you! And neither one of you can move until you kiss! Shenanigans abound, basically.

I'll be throwing in my muses so feel free to tag them, or leave blank comments with people you want to play and I will give them people! There are no rules here, only fun and silly holiday kissing.

Tyler glances around before shaking his head. "I haven't seen him. Should I try to find him?"

[dontkanyeme]

Bo huffs a breath, before shaking her head. "Find my phone. I'll call him." Because she wants to yell at him, and she doesn't want to have to wait for Tyler to search for him.

[lockwood]

"You don't have it on you?" Her phone, that is.

[dontkanyeme]

She shakes her head, before pointing to the kitchen. "No. I think I left it over there on the counter."

[lockwood]

"I'm on it." He makes his way over to the counter and eventually finds her phone and dials up Hale's number.

[dontkanyeme]

And it goes right to his voicemail. Sorry, Tyler, but Hale's a little busy at the moment. Bo will just pace quietly in her mistletoe cage until he gets back with the news, either good or bad.

[lockwood]

He sighs and makes his way back over to Bo.

"He's not answering."

There's a pause and then.

"There's one thing we could try, though?"

[dontkanyeme]

"I am open for any suggestions," Bo says with a nod. "Hit me with it."

[lockwood]

"Well, it's mistletoe, right? If I kiss you, you might be able to go."

[dontkanyeme]

Bo pauses for a moment, before glancing up and giving a bit of a shrug. It wouldn't hurt anyone, and it's not like they haven't kissed anyone before. One kiss. No big deal.

"Okay," she nods slowly, before stepping as close as she can to the edge of the circle. "You sure?"

[lockwood]

Exactly. It's not a big deal. He takes a step closer to her now.

"Wouldn't offer if I wasn't willing."

[dontkanyeme]

"Okay then." Right. Just a kiss. No big deal. And with that she will take it upon herself to take the initiative, reaching across the barrier as she leans in to kiss him.

[lockwood]

He kisses her back because right. No big deal. Just a kiss to help a friend out of an awkward situation.

[dontkanyeme]

Yep. Only it's actually ... a pretty good kiss and she may find herself stepping in a little once she's freed from the mistletoe, one hand moving to the back of his neck.

[lockwood]

It is a good kiss and honestly? It's been a while since he's kissed anyone so when she grabs the back of his neck he deepens it a little.

[dontkanyeme]

She melts into the kiss easily, more out of instinct than anything else. She takes another step closer, sighing softly into the kiss as she lets him pull her in. She actually would be pretty good just doing this for a while.

[lockwood]

He's pretty content to do this for a while as well. It's a nice kiss -- and it's been a long time since he's had one of those, honestly.

[dontkanyeme]

It's been a long time for Bo too - at least in this capacity, with someone she actually cared about. Everything else tended to blur together after a while, but things like this, with her and Tyler right now? Those were the ones that mattered.

Eventually, however, she felt that tell-tale tingle start to crawl up her spine and she pulls back after a moment, not wanting things to go too far. "Wow."

[lockwood]

Tyler grins a little as she pulls away. "Wow is right." Not that he had expected it to be bad or anything...but that was..yeah. Wow.

[dontkanyeme]

She laughs at that, before shaking her head. "Well, I do have a knack." For the kissing thing. But still she wasn't expecting it to be that good. Still, deflection seems best for now.

[lockwood]

"Yeah well, I wasn't expecting it -- not that i expected it to be bad or anything, but you know." Not that good either.

[dontkanyeme]

She laughs softly at that before nodding. "Yeah. I get what you mean." Because there's good and there's good and that definitely fell into the latter category.

[lockwood]

"So. Should we see what the rest of the party is like, at least?" It seems better thant standing here awkwardly

[dontkanyeme]

Bo takes a deep breath before nodding. "Yeah. Sure. Let's go to the party and away from the weird mistletoe." And they'll deal with the awkward later.
