Open Picture Prompt Post

An Open RP Post, with a ~twist~. Basically, I love picture prompts more than life itself, so this is what you do.
1. You choose one of your characters.
2. You leave me a picture prompt and/or what character of mine you're requesting (if you don't request a specific one, I turn the wheel of RP fortune or something like that).
3. I comment setting up a scenario inspired/based on the prompt
4. profit????
three guesses who this is for!!
"I never consciously tried to hurt anyone, yet good intentions notwithstanding, when necessity demanded, I could become completely self-centered, even cruel. I was the kind of person who could, using some plausible excuse, inflict on a person I cared for a wound that would never heal."
tyler right??????
But things didn't turn out that way. Elijah is finally back in Mystic Falls (she had been the one to call and tell him about Kol) and it's all a little too late really. The town doesn't really have parties anymore, the new mayor doesn't seem to have the taste for them that Carol Lockwood had, but they dress up and go to a nicer bar than the grill, a little outside of the tiny Virginian town.
It's when they sit down at the bar that she orders them a few rounds of tequila shots. It seems easier than talking.]
CLEARLY.
it's doubtful. elijah knows such a fancy is overly optimistic. peace isn't in niklaus' nature, and rebekah has their father's temper. elijah is no better than either of them when push comes to shove, but he's chosen to step back, to keep from being in that situation. but kol dies and he's drawn back, because that's what must be done in the wake of a death. ]
Tequila, Rebekah?
[ it's a far cry from the people they'd once been. sometimes elijah feels so old at moments like these. once they'd drunk wine and made merry and the two of them had moved in orbit around niklaus, but he's absent tonight, and it's glaringly felt. ]
I GUESSED RIGHT
At the question she shrugs her shoulders a little.]
It's grown on me.
[Aka she's spent too much time drinking with commoners like high school students and the Salvatores. Her good taste seems to be dwindling. ]
GOLD STAR.
It doesn't suit you.
[ it's a sigh, elijah's quiet way of professing that his sister could do so much better than tequila and salvatores and human teenagers. ]
Tell me, Rebekah. What shall you do now?
I TRIED
She knocks back her own shot with ease, the alcohol burning down her throat. She quirks a brow.]
What does suit me?
[All she wants is the things she never got to have. Proms and stupid corsages and getting married and having children and all those things a woman is supposed to have.]
I have not quite decided yet. There's so much to be desired in this town, but it's been nice, feeling settled in one place for a while.

elijah feels such guilt over that, most days. ]
So you will stay?
[ he keeps his tone noncommittal, because is it fair, for him to pull at her even now? or maybe he should. maybe he should take her away. there are but three of them left. should they not move as one, the way they once had? ]

Family will always come first but these days it doesn't feel like enough either.]
Like I said, I haven't decided yet. [Mystic Falls hasn't been kind to her but honestly? She can't imagine moving on into the world by herself either. It's nothing she's ever done before. After a thousand years independence sounds as terrifying as it does liberating.]
