Open Picture Prompt Post

An Open RP Post, with a ~twist~. Basically, I love picture prompts more than life itself, so this is what you do.

1. You choose one of your characters.
2. You leave me a picture prompt and/or what character of mine you're requesting (if you don't request a specific one, I turn the wheel of RP fortune or something like that).
3. I comment setting up a scenario inspired/based on the prompt

Exactly. The ones who have a taste for it.

[transferee]

They're the real monsters.

[hasperkynipples]

And they come in all shapes and sizes.

[he takes a breath as he stops, letting his eyes scan the trees for a moment.]

One of the worst things about the supernatural, is that most of them used to be human once. And humans are just as capable of the bad shit as everyone else.

[transferee]

Yeah, I know. [Look at her Aunt Kate.] Anybody's capable of being awful.

[hasperkynipples]

[Dean glances over at her for a minute. He liked Kate. He did. But she crossed a line.]

It's true. Anybody is.

[transferee]

And sometimes humans are the worst monsters of all.

[hasperkynipples]

Where do you think the monsters get it from?

[transferee]

Touche.

[hasperkynipples]

[he takes a deep breath.]

It just makes our job all that much harder.

[transferee]

Not that they're so easy to begin with.

[hasperkynipples]

Sometimes it is. Sometimes you run into a thing that's so far gone it's almost easy. In fact, it's almost fun.

[transferee]

Fun? [She asks, raising a brow. She can't think of anyone who's ever called it fun before.]

[hasperkynipples]

[he nods.]

The ones where you don't have to think about it too much? Definitely fun.

[transferee]

I think you're the first person I've heard describe it as fun.

[hasperkynipples]

Yeah, well. Sam and your dad get too stuck in the responsibility of it all sometimes. Then again, I'm a little twisted.

[transferee]

[honestly? Allison's a little twisted herself, sometimes.]

They do seem more stuck on the moral code of everything.

[hasperkynipples]

Not that I'm saying the moral code is wrong. There are times when you are going to have to think about it. But when you run into a Wendigo or a vengeful spirit -- something that really doesn't care if what they're doing is right or wrong and you take it down?

[he exhales with a grin]

Nothing like it.

It must be nice -- not having to give it much thought. Just getting to kill it.

[hasperkynipples]

Sometimes the thought is important though. Keeps us from becoming the monsters.

[transferee]

Right. We don't want to become like the things we hunt.

[hasperkynipples]

Nope. When that happens, we deserve what we get.

[transferee]

Yeah, I suppose we do.

[hasperkynipples]

I know this is hard. If it makes you feel better, I think your dad hoped you would never have to deal with it.

[transferee]

I think so too. He wasn't happy when Kate exposed me to everything.
