Open Picture Prompt Post

An Open RP Post, with a ~twist~. Basically, I love picture prompts more than life itself, so this is what you do.

1. You choose one of your characters.
2. You leave me a picture prompt and/or what character of mine you're requesting (if you don't request a specific one, I turn the wheel of RP fortune or something like that).
3. I comment setting up a scenario inspired/based on the prompt
4. profit????

[She hesitates at first, not sure if it's something she should get into, but at the same time ... ]

My mother was a warrior for the Light Fae. There was this war between the Light and the Dark, and during the war she was captured by the Dark. All I know about my father is that he's this really powerful Dark Fae lord who held her prisoner for ... centuries. She was a succubus like me, so he ... didn't just torture her.

[Rebekah's expression sobers at that. It sounds rather awful, even by the standards of things she's seen in her life time.]

And I thought my father sounded bad.

He's a peach. And I don't even know who he is.

And if you did?

[dontkanyeme]

... I don't know.

Would you want to meet him?

[dontkanyeme]

Part of me, a big part of me, says hell no. But at the same time ... he's part of me. I need to know what I'm in for.

It's better to know, ultimately.

I think so too.

[easily]

I hope you find him then, someday.

So do I.

[she pauses]

And I think that is enough depressing family talk for one evening.

I agree. Anymore and we'll be completely maudlin. No one wants that.

We should have some more to drink, and distract ourselves with other things.

I think that's an excellent plan.

[She pours them both another glass.]

There. A step in the right direction.

[Rebekah nods, picking up her glass.]

It's definitely a start.

[She clinks her glass against hers, and knocks it back.]

We should go dancing.

[easily]

[Rebekah knocks back her own, smiling a little.]

I haven't gone dancing in ages

Then we definitely need to go dancing.

I agree, there's no option in it now.

I happen to know just the place.

[and hopefully Vex won't show up to ruin their dancing.]

Do we need to change into something better first?

[She pauses as she looks over both their outfits before shrugging.]

Why not? Let's make a night of it.

[Rebekah grins at that.]

No reason not to make the most of it.

We'll go back to my place, get all girlied up. Maybe we could even grab Kenzi on the way.
