how to play.

1. Drop a comment with one or more of your muses. It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me. If you want to just give me a prompt (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, anything), I can riff off that too.

3. just rp with me. if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse. if it doesn't, it doesn't.

"I'll take your word on it"

[negotiates]

"Thank you," he murmurs, remembering his manners despite his predicament.

Elijah follows docilely enough at first. Then he starts feeling dizzy again and slows down, swaying drunkenly from side to side. He keeps passing his hand over his eyes as though the sun is hurting him.

"How much further?"

[hasperkynipples]

Dean nods, before taking another swig of his drink. "So why are we at a karaoke bar again?"

Probably because he wants to run with real wolves? Who really knows?

"It's always good to switch things up every once in a while."

[transferee]

Instinctively she puts a hand on his arm to try to help steady him as they continue to walk.

"Not much, we should be there in a few minutes."

[lockwood]

No one.

"I could definitely use some change in scenery."

[negotiates]

He barely seems to register the hand on his arm, but he keeps walking. The pain is becoming more irritating again; his skin itches. He stares down at the ground, concentrating hard on every step before him.

Consequently, he completely misses when they come in sight of the cabin, right until he staggers on to the porch.

He leans heavily against the door, twisting around to look at her.

"Don't follow me."

And with that, Elijah disappears inside, slamming the door shut behind him.

Allison stands at the doorway, unsure of what to do. She doesn't know him -- but he seems too hurt to be left on his own either.

Which is why she opens the door and makes her way inside anyway.

"I can't just leave you like that."

It's not like she knows the bite won't kill him.

[negotiates]

It's a bad idea. He told her not to come in. Because he's absolutely ravenous - it's all he's been able to do not to drain her dry, but the knowledge that there's blood waiting for him in the cabin kept him going.

He moved with vampire speed as soon as the door closed, and so in a matter of seconds he's tossed half a dozen blood bags out of the fridge and onto the kitchen table. When she finds him, he's already almost finished one, drinking like a man who has just found an oasis in the middle of a desert.

"I'll include those on the list too, then."

"We. Which means we'll have to go to New Orleans."

There was nothing left for him in Mystic Falls. It was awkward being around Jeremy after mourning his passing, too similar to seeing Vicki again after she died for his comfort. He'd been gone all summer and hadn't had time to adjust to his return like the others had, and they were all off at college while he was just... stuck here.

In essence, he had. So much had happened and eventually disappearing had become the best option he had. He'd been working with Claude, using his invisibility far more than he should have. It was nice to see someone that didn't think he was crazy or didn't blame him for anything that had happened or would happen.

"Good. I mean...it's nice to see you again."

He shoves his hands in his pockets, glancing around. "Did you--do you want to get some coffee?"

[easily]

A soft smile spreads across her lips. She had been considering asking him if he wanted to come with her but she assumed he'd refuse. After all, wasn't this supposed to be a summer thing? Summer is over. But if he wants to come with her she isn't going to argue it either (though she probably should given Klaus' track record of killing the men she gets involved with).

"We. My mistake."

[easily]

"It's nice to see you too."

And it is. She doesn't know a lot of people in New York -- which has both it's advantages and disadvantages. There's no preconceived notions about her here, but it's also rather lonely.

Which is why she nods at his question. "Sure. I'd love to."

[darwinspigeon]

Peter grins at her agreement to have coffee. He's dealing with his own share of loneliness because he's been spending most of his time with a cranky, homeless guy that likes beating on him with some kind of staff. Really, Rebekah's company is so much better.

"Great. Uhm.." he pushes his bangs out of his eyes. "There's--it's right around the corner if you wanna..." he starts in that direction, all awkward and good hearted.

[wrongkid]

The four of them were always so close but not. "And she knew all the secrets we didn't," he comments lightly, shaking his head. He knows Ali didn't like him very much, but did her best friends really mean so little to her too? Was it always all a game to her to gain power, to survive, to get money?

Jason doesn't really know.

"I know," he says softly. There's something heavy in the words. "There's no laying it to rest. For all the times I've tried to move forward and even left. I can't."

Not with all these questions, and he has no idea how much danger Spencer's in all the time.

She grins at his offer. It's kind of adorable, like a startled puppy. Certainly endearing enough that she easily follows him as he heads in the right direction.

In a city so large the chances of running into one another had been slim -- she likes those odds.

She instantly regrets the decision. Blood. Those are bags of blood -- like a vampire?

It shouldn't surprise her. There are werewolves, kaminas, banshees and who knew what else is out there?

Why wouldn't there be vampires?

She stands there in fear when she knows she should run, she should get out of there but she can't move.

[lockwood]

"Good. Caroline will be glad we have a list -- she's a big list person."

[negotiates]

There's a little blood around his mouth. In case it wasn't obvious that he's drinking it. Elijah's eyes fall on Allison and he pauses, hand tightening around the almost-empty blood bag.

"I told you not to follow me."

[visiongirl]

"Lorne -- the guy who runs this place -- can read Auras, can get people set one the right track when they're stuck on things -- he also often has gossip that could be useful to cases."

[daphnes]

"She did. Ali always seemed to know how to find out any information she could -- probably because it gave her more power." Ali had never been beyond blackmail after all -- not by a long shot. Spencer wonders sometimes though what started her on that route, was it always just a power thing or did something else start it?

They may never know.

"I don't think any of can."

How can she when whoever did it, whoever killed Ali -- they're constantly going after her and her friends too.

[hasperkynipples]

He raises his eyebrows a bit at that. "Well, that's one way to drum up business."

[enjoythe_ride]

"She probably doesn't do well with surprises, then."

[transferee]

"I know. I should of listened."

But Allison isn't great at that, especially if she thinks someone was in danger -- she had thought there was something strange about him but she didn't expect this.

She feels almost as frozen as when she first saw Derek as the wolf, when her reality completely crumbled in front of her.
