[ooc: Basically, this is free range for people to set up scenes with Tyler. Can be canon, crossover, whatever. There will probably be spoilery things bc I am not dealing well with the events of the last episode, this is the warning for that. Also feel free to comment oocly with an idea, and I can set something up too.]

[He's going to have to go back eventually. His mom is dead, and if anything there will be questions. But he doesn't have to go back right now.]

Do you think he's still looking for you?

[Sometimes the crueler thing can be to leave them alive but leave them alone.]

[lockwood]

If he wanted to find me, he would have. [Tyler's pretty sure he killed his mother because Klaus knew that would be worse for him.

Tyler would rather be dead than have someone die for him.]

[She'll take his word for it. She glances back towards the kitchen and does a silent appraisal of what alcohol she has in stock, before getting to her feet.]

Come on. We're going to the Dahl.

[lockwood]

[He looks kind of hesitant at the idea.] Not really in the mood to go to the bar.

[dontkanyeme]

[She slides on her jacket and nods.]

I know. I wouldn't be either. But a) I do not have enough alcohol to get you as stupidly drunk as you probably want to be right now and b) on the off chance that Klaus does decide that all the people he's already killed tonight aren't good enough and he really does want your head on a stick, we'll have back up. Fae aren't really fond of other immortals wandering in on their turf.

[Plus there's a chance some of them might be older than Klaus. She settles the leather jacket on her shoulders before moving back to him.]

There's a private room in the back. We can grab a couple bottles, and you won't need to interact with anyone but me. But it'll be safer than here.

[lockwood]

[He nods numbly, standing to his feet finally.]

Okay, but I don't want to be putting anyone else at risk. No one else needs to get hurt for me.

[Twelve hybrids and his mom. That's a lot for one night. He's not sure there's enough alcohol in the world to fix any of that.]

[She slides an arm around his shoulders and pulls him close.]

Don't worry. If Klaus shows, the only one getting hurt is him.

[lockwood]

[He nods a little. It's hard to imagine anyone actually managing to hurt Klaus. Maybe he had been stupid to try.]

[dontkanyeme]

[It's never stupid to try. That's why fighting for things is important, you just have to make sure you do it the right way.

She gets them in the car and drives them off to the Dahl. Not long after they arrive, they have a very large bottle of whiskey, a few shot glasses and the entire back room to themselves.]

[lockwood]

[Tyler follows her to the back room, filling up a couple of shot glasses for them before grabbing one of them and downing it quickly.

It burns, but that's about it. It'll take a lot more than that to numb everything else he's feeling. Assuming he can.]

[They're certainly going to try. She downs her own glass, before reaching for the bottle to pour them some more.]

Should we toast? Or is it too soon?

[lockwood]

We can toast. [He brings up the shot glass.] To my mom, she accepted me even when she knew I was a monster. And to my pack, who I let down. [And then he downs it.]

[There's a small hesitation when he says "pack." That's not a word choice she's heard from him before. She downs her shot quietly, and goes to pour them another before she actually speaks.]

Pack?

[lockwood]

The other hybrids. I was helping them break their sire bonds to Klaus.

He found out.

[dontkanyeme]

But they were your pack?

[it's different if they were just other hybrids. But she's seen enough with Dyson to know that it's entirely different when they're your pack.]

[lockwood]

Yeah. They had just accepted me as their Alpha.

[dontkanyeme]

[And that, in a way, makes it so much worse. It's one thing to lose your friends, it's another to lose people you have that kind of bond with. Not that she even really knows what to say, so she stalls by pouring them another drink.]

I'm sorry.

[lockwood]

It was my fault. I was supposed to be helping them. [But Hayley had lied. It was all for some stupid sacrifice.

Klaus once again proved to him there's more he could lose.

He takes the shot glass, downing it quickly.]

You did help them. You were getting them unsired. You were giving them their lives back.

[lockwood]

Except they lost them anyways

[dontkanyeme]

That isn't your fault. You fought for them. Sometimes we don't always win, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

[lockwood]

Yeah. I guess it's just hard to see the point right now.

[dontkanyeme]

[She smirks a bit.]

Well, you're not supposed to be. You're supposed to be drinking.

[She downs her shot then pours them both another one.]

[lockwood]

Oh. Right. [He'll take that shot and down it.]

[dontkanyeme]

[She smirks a bit, taking hers, before pouring again.]
